Fun with comics

I have always enjoyed drawing.  My favorite art form growing up was comics.  I used to draw comics quite regularly during my teen years.  As I’ve gotten older I’ve drawn much less, due mostly to time constraint.  Drawing is time consuming and once I start I usually get sucked in for hours.  Because I draw so little now, I have lost most of my drawing ability, but I still love comics.
I’ve recently discovered a couple of pieces of software that have allowed me to dabble in the comic world again with out a huge time commitment.  Adobe Photoshop and Plasque Comic Life.  I can take pictures, posterize them in Photoshop and them arrange them in Comic Life to form comic strips.  The software is pretty cool and I’m really enjoying the creative outlet.  I have put a new page on my blog called comics.  Hopefully, I will find the time to continue creating comics and post them here as I do.
Heres a link to the first one:
First Comic

Enjoy!

Very cute! I particularly like that they are using a giant box of pastels to draw! Ironic, don’t you think? :) Makes me want to go dig out my own pastels. :)

I like the part where the doll has a thought. That’s funny.
